Connectivity and Features
Running on GSM 900/1800/1900 networks, the B510 supports basic connectivity options such as Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, which was adequate for wireless audio streaming and simple file transfers. However, it lacks Wi-Fi capabilities, which means internet access is restricted to cellular data through GPRS and EDGE, both class 10. The browsing experience is facilitated via a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, which allows for light internet use. On the multimedia side, the phone includes an FM radio, enabling users to enjoy radio broadcasts. It also supports Java applications (MIDP 2.0), allowing the installation of basic apps and games. Multimedia features are rounded out by SMS, EMS, and MMS messaging capabilities and built-in games.
