Samsung D100 Connectivity and Applications

Connectivity and Applications

Connectivity on the D100 is minimal, lacking modern standards such as WLAN, Bluetooth, and USB. However, it did include an infrared port, which was commonly used for wireless data transfer between devices before Bluetooth became predominant. There is a modest WAP 1.2.1 browser, useful for basic browsing, and the phone supports SMS, EMS, MMS, and Email, covering essential communication avenues.

Games such as Bowling, Mobile Chess, Fun2Link, BubbleSmile, and Ultimate Golf+ are embedded in the phone, bringing light entertainment, while its Java capabilities allow for some additional application support. Predictive text input furthers the ease of message typing.
