Removing AIM Set Candidates

After deleting the AIM set association, the source or destination virtual volumes can be removed as candidate in the AIM configuration.

 

Follow these steps to delete an AIM destination volume:

  1. Select AIM Destination Volume in the left pane.

  2. Select the AIM Destination Volume you wish to delete.

  3. Click the up arrow. The virtual volume is now ineligible as an AIM set candidate.

  4. Click Apply to apply the changes, or click OK to apply changes and exit from the window.

 

Follow  these steps to delete an AIM source volume:

  1. Select AIM Source Volume in the left pane.

  2. Select the AIM Source Volume you wish to delete.

  3. Click the Up Arrow. The virtual volume is now ineligible as an AIM set candidate.

  1. Click Apply  to apply the changes, or click OK to apply changes and exit from the window.
