Using AIM CLI Commands

CLIs are executed from the Source system.

CAUTION:  When performing CLI commands, run the command window in Run as Administrator mode.

If you want to write a program or script to call out AIM functions, you can include any of the following CLI:

Description

AimFlush.exe

virtual volume name or

[-g] group name

Performs a manual flush on the Source virtual volume.

AimMarker.exe

virtual volume name + text string or

[-g] group name + text string

Sends a user-defined marker to the destination system. The user-defined marker is case sensitive and can be comprised of up to 15 alpha-numeric characters, symbols, and spaces.

AimSnapshot.exe

virtual volume name or

[-g] group name

Sends a manual snapshot command to the destination system.
