Viewing the Destination Log File

The Destination Log file provides a log of all the activity on the Destination system. Each activity entry will be categorized as INFO, WARNING, or ERROR.

  • INFO - Supplies general information.

  • WARNING - Describes a non-critical error. The Aim Destination Service is still in operation.

  • ERROR - Describes a critical error. The Aim Destination Service has stopped. Manual intervention is necessary to investigate the cause and restart the service.

To access the Destination Log file:

  1. Navigate to AIM Destination Manager.

  2. In the left pane, right-click AIM Destination Manager.

  3. Select View Destination Logfile from the menu.

OR

  1. Navigate to AIM Destination Manager.

  2. In the menu bar, select Actions.

  3. Select View Destination Logfile from the menu.
