Deleting NMV Pools

 

In order to delete a pool:

  1. All  mappings of virtual volumes from the pool must be unmapped. See Unmapping Virtual Volumes.

  2. Apply the configuration changes.

  3. All virtual volumes created from volumes in the pool must be deleted. See Deleting Virtual Volumes.

  4. All volumes created from the pool must be deleted. See Deleting NMVs.

  5. Release all NMVs belonging to the pool to be deleted. See Protect All/Release All Volumes.

  6. Apply the configuration changes.

  7. In the NMV Pools node in Disk Manager, select the pool and choose Delete from the shortcut menu. The pool is removed and the disks in the pool are returned to the Raw Disk folder.

  8. Apply the configuration changes.
