Assign a Logon/Password for the DataCore Storage Domain Server Service
Before establishing a partnership, the DataCore Storage Domain Server (DcsSDS) service must be associated with a local administrator account and password.
To assign a logon and password to the DataCore Storage Domain Server (DcsSDS) service:

In Windows Computer Management>Services and Applications, open Services in the console tree.

In the right pane, select DataCore Storage Domain Server from the list and choose Properties from the shortcut menu.

Click the Log On tab and select This Account to allow entering account and password information.

Enter the local administrator account name and password created for use with the SANmelody product.
WARNING: The same account and password must be used on both storage servers. -
Click OK keep your selections and close the dialog box.

You will receive a message that the account has been granted the Log On As A Service right. Click OK on the message.

You will receive a message that you need to restart the service. Click OK on the message.

In the Services window, click Restart the service.

Close and re-open Computer Management.

This procedure must be performed locally on both SANmelody storage servers.
