Connecting to Partner Takes a Long Time

If you are running a High Availability configuration consisting of two storage servers, in the Storage Server Snap-in, the Partner column indicates the status of the partner storage server.

When you attempt to establish a partnership, the status may show Connecting for a long time. If it does, it is likely that there was a network failure. Attempt to establish the partnership again, by selecting Retry Partner in the Partner Tab-Storage Server Properties.
