NMV Pools – Disk Manager
The NMV Pools component in Disk Manager allows you to view information about NMVs pools.

Add Network Managed Volume and Add Multiple Network Managed Volumes, see Creating NMVs from Pools. Purge Offline Volumes – removes the SAUs that are allocated on that disk. See Purging Offline NMVs. Delete – deletes the pool. See Deleting NMV Pools. Make Read/Write-this option is not available in SANmelody software. Import – allows a foreign pool (not recognized by the selected storage server) to be used by the selected storage server. This option is only enabled when pool state is foreign. Refer to Pool Status. Force Online – This option is enabled when the pool status is Offline and allows you to force the pool online. Properties, see Pool Properties. |

Remove from Pool, see Removing Disks from a Pool. Add Mirror, see Creating Mirrors in NMV Pools. Properties, see Pool Properties. Extend, see Extend Disk. |

Create Pool, see Creating NMV Pools and Adding Disks. Refresh – refreshes the status and usage information in the display. |
