iSCSI Initiator Properties in iSCSI Manager
The MS iSCSI Initiator Properties box is available in the iSCSI Manager tool in SANmelody software. To open the properties box, select the iSCSI initiator port in the console tree and choose Properties in the shortcut menu.
Basic Tab
The Basic tab allows you to change the initiator node name and set an initiator CHAP secret for authentication.
For information about CHAP, refer to iSCSI Security and Error Detection or the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator documentation.
To change the initiator node name:
Enter the name in the box provided and click Change, then click OK to close the box.
To add an initiator CHAP secret:
Enter the secret in the box provided and click Save, then click OK to close the box.
