iSCSI Manager Authentication Tab
The iSCSI Manager Authentication tab allows you to choose an authentication method. The default setting is None.

On the Authentication tab, choose an authentication method from the drop-down menu. The default is None.

Highlight a Node Name and click Add. The Authentication Information dialog box appears.
(The Remote Node Name and the Remote User Name are the same.)

Fill in a password (12-27 characters) in the Secret field and confirm it in the Confirm Secret field. The Secret in the Incoming Authentication Information area must match the Target Secret set up in MS Initiator/General tab on the application server connected to this server.

For a higher level of security, select the Perform Mutual Authentication check box. The authentication is performed incoming and outgoing. Enter all fields in the Outgoing Authentication Information area.

Click Apply.

On each application server you wish to connect to the storage server, configure the authentication to match the storage server authentication.
